Kelly Allen - ( Webmaster) I am the web master as well as been involved with the team for the past 3 years. I had my maiden performance at Barrier Rodeo in 2010 riding my paint stallion"The Huntsman". I have been riding for over 40 years and have done it all. I still compete actively in the Hunter/Jumper world, breeds Paints, camps with my horses, and do web sites on the side. I just returned from 3 months of camping in the desert in Arizona and you can follow the blog of our trip on this web site "campingandhorses.com". I am not sure if I will ride his year as I have a couple shoulder injuries that maybe interfer with holding a flag.

Jessica Babineau -(Rider) Jessica has been riding since she was 5 and has been involved with drill teams for the last 11 years. She was the coach of the Mighty Fraser Team of Abbotsford. She rode for our team last year at the Barrier Rodeo and she plans to be with us for the 2011 season. She is a full time student working towards her law degree so we feel lucky that she is able to carve some time out for us.

Marnie Best - (Past Rider) Marnie rides for West Coast Thunder and she has helped us by riding at Barrier Rodeo in 2009. Very much appreciated.

Corrie Bokenfohr-(Past rider and team founder ) Corrie is the founding member of Bit-a-Bling and has worked very hard helping develop this team to its current success. She has ridden Grand Entry and Drill for various teams for 16 years and 14 of those years have been on her QH gelding - Levi (very special animal who sometimes reminds her to keep her sense of humor). She loves rodeo, the challenges and is very committed to this team and has dedicated a great deal of time to it. Corrie has now moved to Ashcroft to the Bar M Ranch were she and her partner Gary work on the ranch.

Sheila Caravetta-Hicks -(Rider and team leader) Sheila has been riding with drill & Grand Entry teams for 11 years. She has been Bit-a-Bling's lead rider since its inception in 2007. She also is a commercial pilot - she knows how to navigate. Tia, her QH mare has lots of energy and keeps her on her toes. She enjoys the challenge of rodeo immensely and the team camaraderie.

Jessica Cheadle- (Past Rider) Jessica has been a member since 2009. She has ridden most of her life but in the hunter jumper rings. Jess loves the thrill of drill. The past couple years she has ridden a paint mare called Bar J Zandas Beauty.

Jordan Taylor Costain- New Rider

Barb Crawford- (Rider) Barb'started with Bit-of-Bling in 2010 and she also is a rider for the Mighty Fraser Drill Team of Abbotsford. She says joining this team has been a great experience and loves the weekly rides with fun lovin cowgirls. She has two mares for drill, her homebred 7yr old TB Misti and 8yr old QH/Paint Lilly. Both her and her ponies love trail riding and camping. She is looking forward to another fun year of Rodeos with the team.

Kendra Delaplace-(Past Rider) Kendra has been a member of Bit-a-Bling since 2008. She has ridden Grand Entry for many years. The last several years she has ridden a Paint gelding – Eddy. She is a very quite and accomplished rider who gets the job done every time. She takes things in her stride and is not easily panicked even when there are directional errors she can make them look like they were meant to be. We call on her to fill in for lead whenever there is a need.

Jennifer Girard - (Rider) Jennifer joined our team in 2010 and rode in the Cloverdale Rodeo. She also is a rider for the Mighty Fraser Team from Abbotsford. She has broken her arm twice this year and we are hoping she will be able to ride sometime this season but we do not want her to break her arm three times in one year so we will wait for her recovery - she is worth the wait.

Angela French- (Rider) Angela rode with us last year at the Barrier Rodeo and she will be riding with us for the 2011 season. She has ridden several years with the Mighty Fraser Team from Abbotsford. She is very enthusiastic, accomplished rider and very personable. We are very happy to have Angela as part of our team.

Natalie Giordano- (Past Rider) Natalie rode at Cloverdale Rodeo in our inaugural year of 2008.

Trisha Hurlburt- (Ground Crew) Trisha is a big asset to the team. She comes and helps at every practice. Is there for the team at every performance. It is people like Trisha that keep the team together. Trisha also helped Kelly design the web site.

Sharon Jackson- (Past Coach) Sharon is one of the most important members "she is the coach". Sharon is a fabulous horsemen with years of experiance in many different disciplines.

Kim Kozak- (Past Riders) Kim rode at Cloverdale Rodeo in our inaugural year of 2008.

Shannon Leak-(Rider) Shannon has been with the team since conception. She also has ridden for the Langley Rider's Drill Team. Shannon and her family have been in horses their whole life, racing and rodeo. She is planning on moving up country this year but we are hanging on to her as tight as we can and up to the last moment - Shannon is one of those people everyone loves.

Chrissy Paquette- (Past rider) Chrissy has been riding with Bit-a-Bling for 2 years and also is a rider for the Mighty Fraser Drill Team of Abbotsford. She brings with her two lovely horses - both QH mares and completely different in every way. She has been riding for years and it shows - her and her ponies make a lovely picture in the ring.

Dani McKim-(Past Rider) Dani has been with the team since its inception in 2007. She has ridden a different horse each year, some of them very challenging, which indicates just how accomplished a rider she is. She has been riding at Cloverdale Rodeo for at least 12 years. She is beautiful person on the outside and the inside and we appreciate what she brings to the team.

Meagan McKinnon- (Rider) Meagan comes from a hunter/jumper background and competes and coaches in that venue. She has ridden with the team since 2007and in her second year she also became a lead rider. Meagan and her mount, a Paint named Count, make a formidable pair and can travel at warp speed if needed. We love the energy that they bring to the team and the fact that their hair matches!

Hanne Olsen- (Past Rider now Coach ) Hanna has been a team member since our inaugural year - 2007. Her mount is a QH gelding named Chips. She is also a huntswoman with the Fraser Valley Hunt Club which she rides with each week during the winter. Hanna organizes and dispenses the costumes to team member’s at our performances and we would be lost without her.

Tara Pay- (Past Rider) Tara rode at Cloverdale Rodeo in our inaugural year of 2008.

Robin Stellick- (Past Rider) Robyn rode for us in 2008, 2009 and 2010. She was like the back bone to the team. She has moved to Niagara Falls and we miss her sense of humor greatly.

Mercedes Stephenson- (Past Rider) Mercedes rode at Cloverdale Rodeo in our 2009 year.

Jacquie Schultz- (Past Rider) Jacquie rode at Cloverdale Rodeo in 2008 and 2009. She continues to be very supportive to the team with help on the ground.

Dalyce Temple-(Rider) Dalyce is our youngest member and has youth on her side - no fear. She has been with Bit-a-Bling since the beginning. Her first year she borrowed a horse and then her parent's succumbed and bought a QH gelding named Dakota who has become a very important part of their family which also includes 2 dogs and 2 cats. Dalyce and her whole family are a very big part of our team..

Arlene Van Roon- (Rider) Arlene has ridden with Bit-a-Bling since 2008. She also rides for Langley Rider's Drill Team. Her and Apache, a Appalosa gelding make a great pair. Arlene is one of the most enthusiastic people you will meet and she loves Grand Entry. We love her

Lindsay Van Roon- (Past Rider) Lindsay rode at Cloverdale Rodeo in our 2010 year

Colleen Vail- (past rider) Colleen is the coach for the Langley Rider's Drill Team and this will be her second year of riding with Bit-a-Bling. She will be riding a new mount - QH gelding Ringo. Colleen is a great asset to our team bringing many qualities in addition to riding.
